Margaret Glover’s career spans theatre, film and television as dramaturg, script editor, writer, and producer. She co-wrote and co-produced Ahmed Al Daradji’s debut feature “Hanging Gardens”, which began its journey as “Children of the Forbidden” with Rawi Screenwriters Lab in 2017 and won the Jury of La Biennale di Venezia Prize for the best film in post-production in September 2021. Other recent feature film credits include co-producer for Roz Mortimer’s “The Deathless Woman”, BFI London Film Festival premiere 2019, Special Jury Award from Ake Dikhea Festival of Romani Film 2020 and currently touring the UK and Europe and script editor on Evi Roman’s “Why Not You” (aka Hochwald), Focus Prize at Zurich International Film Festival 2020 and currently on release in Europe. Previous credits include co-editor with writer-director Ali Jaberansari on “Falling Leaves”, which premiered at Montreal International Film Festival 2013 and won Federico Fellini Award for best international newcomer at the Tiburon International Film Festival 2014, and co-writer on several international features, including “Shadows in the Sun”, best original screenplay at Houston Worldfest 2009. Glover is currently in development on a feature film with Italian-Swiss documentary director Francesca Scalisi.
