Training

  • One of the most important activities of the Royal Film Commission – Jordan (RFC) is training filmmakers of various levels of experience, both locally and regionally. This is achieved through workshops and regular seminars in various film disciplines, including screenwriting, directing, producing, cinematography, editing, sound, and more. These workshops are conducted by well-known local and regional experts.
  • The workshops take place in the capital, Amman, and in six film centers affiliated with the RFC in six different cities: Irbid, Salt, Mafraq, Wadi Rum, Zarqa, and Aqaba.
  • The training aims to enhance the skills of filmmakers, enabling them to execute their projects at the highest level and engage in the job market.
  • Over the past twenty years, the RFC has organized more than 700 workshops and seminars, benefiting approximately 5,400 filmmakers.
