Local Training

The Royal Film Commission - Jordan organizes educational and training programs across all aspects of filmmaking and television throughout the Kingdom. These programs aim to build the capacities of young Jordanians and residents of Jordan in the art and craft of filmmaking. Each year, various training programs are designed and implemented at its headquarters in Amman (the Film House) and at its six film centers located in Irbid, Zarqa, Salt, Petra, Wadi Rum, and Aqaba. These programs cover many aspects of filmmaking and television, including screenwriting, producing, directing, and technical fields such as cinematography, sound, and editing. Participants gain both theoretical and practical knowledge through producing short films or developing their own projects. They also benefit from the opportunity to network with international filmmakers and industry professionals who share their expertise and insights during the training.
