THE ROYAL FILM COMMISSION - JORDAN (RFC) was established with a vision to develop an internationally competitive Jordanian film industry.
Founded in accordance with the Royal Film Commission Law No. 27 for the year 2003, approved by Law No. 22 issued by the Parliament in 2008, the RFC is a financially and administratively autonomous Jordanian public organization led by a Board of Commissioners, chaired by HRH Prince Ali Bin Al Hussein.
The RFC is a member of the Association for Film Commissioners International (AFCI). The (AFCI) is the official professional and educational organization for film commissions. AFCI Members assist feature, television, commercial, industrial and stills production throughout the world. For more information about (AFCI) www.afci.org
We provide producers with comprehensive services, such as assistance in obtaining filming permits, location scouting, custom clearance and much more.
We develop learning environment in cinematic arts across Jordan and establish programs that address the need for new and innovative methods of communication.
The RFC organizes thematic screenings throughout the year all over the country, thus enriching the film culture in Jordan.
The Royal Film Commission – Jordan (RFC) supports the activities and programs that develop the potential of the independent local film industry, as well as its economic viability and continuity. To that end, the Jordan Film Fund (JFF) has been established to enable filmmakers to tell their stories, especially in Jordan.
