After twenty years of absence, Sue returns to Egypt, her native country, to see her mother, Fairouz, an eccentric aristocrat, with whom she has severed all ties. This surprising journey, which takes her from Cairo to Alexandria, tinged with distant memories, nostalgia, and mixed feelings about her past, will allow her to become free and emancipated.

The film was nominated for four awards, including Best Feature Film at the 2023 Red Sea International Film Festival, and the Golden Eye for Best Film in Focus at the Zurich Film Festival of the same year.
